For the calories to Protein ratio you can’t beat it. Much better than a protein bar. I’ve ordered 2 more 8 packs with the rosemary. Great stuff.
Ayoba offers the only authentic and really good biltong in the US

So I spent a lot of time in New Zealand where you can purchase huge slabs of biltong at most butcheries. It was so great. Ayoba is the first biltong I have been able to purchase in the U.S. that is actually made right. So good!!
I think that the flavor us great; but I would prefer the product a little less “wet”!
If you are used to, and like American style meat sticks, you may enjoy this. If you are, however, eating this for the sake of nostalgia, you may disappointed as it doesn’t really compare to South African traditional droëwors. The casing and texture and taste has changed since I have first started buying ayoba products in 2017. I really want to like this as have in the past and I will keep checking in occasionally hoping not to be disappointed. Their biltong slabs are not bad!
